With the recent news that Tim Raines was finally elected into the baseball Hall of Fame, I thought it was a good time to remember the time that The Rock almost played a game for West Carleton Electric on June 23, 2009. We tried to convince him to suit up, but instead he came to the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre and watched Manotick Lomor Printers defeat the Electric 7-1.As per the game story, Trevor Lahey had the win for Manotick with Cal Medynski launching a solo home run and Trevor Power hitting a 3RBI triple (?!). Steve Cavanagh took the loss for WC, and Adam Brown, who had his offered of his left field position to the Rock declined, had the home team's only RBI.
